This marks the beginning of a blog where quality counts, and both PHP beginners and experts can have a common ground to share their thoughts and opinions.
A little about myself
I am Brian Wangila, a PHP and Web Application enthusiast based in Nairobi, Kenya. I currently work freelance designing websites and coding PHP Web Applications. In my free time you can catch me having fun with family and friends or wrecking havoc in the realms of PC gaming.
Yet another blog?
Hold on a sec, blogs are popping up everywhere… so what makes this one different? Well, I will be blogging pretty much about the burning topics in PHP and any other relevant topics that may include:
- Tutorials for common scripts e.g login, contact form, search box
- PHP and Web Application security
- Round ups on PHP resources
- Integrating APIs in scripts e.g Twitter, Facebook, Youtube etc
- … and general PHP development practices
Why I chose to blog?
Many a times as a PHP coder I have run into some problem that I just could not solve. Then after hours of googling and skimming through endless code in forums I stumble upon the solution in the weirdest of places. Am sure many fellow coders have gone through this. And with that in mind, I wanted a place where I could share these solutions to save someone the trouble I went through, hence this blog.
For starters I will publish a couple of posts then as time goes by the frequency will increase to maybe even several posts a week. For now there isn’t much to see but bookmark the site (Ctrl+D), subscribe to my RSS Feed, follow me on Twitter and get ready for a whole new series of awesome posts.
Do feel free to post any relevant comments and contact me in case

Welcome to the world of blogging. Being a front- end web developer, I know the pain of trying to find easy solutions for the back-end. I cant wait to see your tutorials
